All things new...

Things in my life are drastically changing, as they often do as you grow up. With age comes responsibility, something I really never wanted to face. This weekend will mark the beginning to my financial road to success as I will sit down with my parents to discuss my money and how I should save and/or invest it. One could say, I am extremely nervous about discussing money with my parents.

There are many other things in my life that are starting to take a new direction. My outlook on the possibility of being in a relationship has changed. I have always told a good friend of mine that in order to find love, stop looking for it. However, I have never taken my own advice! I finally feel quit at peace with the way things are going right now. Dealing with being single and 23 in the South is quit different than being different and being single in other places in the world. Here, many get married young. The older generation soon begins to wonder what is wrong with you if you aren't serious about some guy or married when you are my age. Dealing with that has been the most difficult. However, I have learned that being single is more of a blessing, especially for me at this point in my life.

I have fabulous friends. Without them I would be lonely! I enjoy spontaneous moments and life and without friends to share those moments with would make those moments worthless. A person can have many friends in their life, however, those who will break the rules just to walk beside you are the greatest friends you can have in your life. My friends have provided me with all sorts of love and support throughout the years and to them, I am greatful!

The little things...

A Passion of Mine

One of my biggest passions in life is photography! Photography is the opportunity to capture a moment in time, in which someone would never like to forget. A photograph is a picture that can mean something different to everyone who views it. In High School, I was never the girl with the camera, my friends were! However, sometime during college, things changed and I became the girl with the camera. Now I enjoy taking pictures of all of my friends and the major events in their lives. Below are some of the pictures I have taken in the last few months of one of my closest friends and one of their largest life adventures.
